Installation is Rp450K for 0.5–1 PK and Rp600K for 1.5–2 PK. Relocation is Rp600K or Rp750K. Materials are measured and confirmed separately.

Proper Installation Matters

A badly installed AC leaks, wastes power and dies early — and in Bali most units are fitted by general builders, not HVAC technicians.

Correct pipe sizing, a real drainage slope, secure mounting, full vacuum before charging. That is the difference between five years and fifteen.

What the job actually involves

Installation of a 0.5–1 PK wall split is Rp450,000 for the labour and Rp600,000 for 1.5–2 PK, with piping at Rp150,000 per metre and materials measured and confirmed before we start. The work is a bracket set level and into something that will hold it, the pipe run kept as short and as straight as the building allows, flare joints made and pressure-tested, the system vacuumed before the gas is released, and the drain run with a continuous fall to the outside. Relocation of an existing unit is Rp300,000 for 0.5–1 PK, and removal alone Rp175,000.

When the work is worth doing

Where the outdoor unit goes matters more than most people expect, and it is the decision we will push back on. A condenser in a sealed alcove, boxed in behind a screen, or directly in the salt wind off the beach will cost you cooling every day it runs and will fail years early — no amount of servicing compensates for it. We will suggest the position that works and explain the trade-off against the one that looks better. The same goes for capacity: a unit undersized for the room never stops running, and one oversized for it cycles too fast to dehumidify. Installation carries 12 months.

What is included in AC installation?

Can you install in an already-finished room?

Yes — concealed through the wall, or in decorative trunking.

How long does installation take?

A split system takes 2–4 hours; ducted or multi-split, a full day or more.
