What the job actually involves

Every repair starts with a diagnosis on site at Rp65,000, and that figure comes off the bill if you approve the work. We check airflow and coil condition first, then the outdoor unit, then refrigerant pressure, and only then the electrical side — capacitor, fan motor, sensors, control board, compressor. The order matters, because three of the four most common causes of "the AC is broken" are not electrical at all. Whatever we find, you get the price for the part and the labour before anything is fitted, and the repair carries 30 days on labour with 3 months on any part we replace.

When the work is worth doing

Not every unit is worth repairing, and we will tell you when it is not. A compressor on an old, hard-worked unit can cost more in labour and parts than the machine is worth, and a board on a unit that has already had two failures is usually the second-to-last repair it will ever need. In those cases we say so plainly and give you the number for a replacement instead of quoting a repair we do not believe in. What we will not do is top up freon on a leaking system and call it fixed — that is a repair that lasts until the gas escapes again.
