AC Service Cost in Bali (2026 Price Guide)

AC pricing in Bali is often quoted only over WhatsApp, which makes it hard to plan. This guide lays out the real labour rates for cleaning, repair, freon and installation, and explains what moves the price up or down so there are no surprises.
AC cleaning
Cleaning is priced per indoor unit and covers labour only:
- Standard cleaning (indoor unit): from Rp 85K
- Standard cleaning (indoor + outdoor): from Rp 150K
- Deep cleaning / chemical wash: from Rp 250K
- Drain pipe cleaning: from Rp 50K
AC repair
Repairs start with a flat diagnostic, then parts are quoted before any work begins:
- Diagnostics & inspection: from Rp 65K
- Capacitor replacement: from Rp 190K
- Fan motor replacement: from Rp 380K
- PCB / electronic board repair: from Rp 380K
- Leak detection & fix: from Rp 250K
- Compressor replacement: from Rp 650K
Freon refill
Freon is priced by refrigerant type because the gas cost differs. We check which type your unit uses on-site for free:
- R22: from Rp 250K
- R32: from Rp 315K
- R410A: from Rp 380K
Installation & relocation
Installation pricing assumes a standard split system with up to 3 metres of piping; longer runs are charged per metre:
- Split system install (up to 3m pipe): from Rp 760K
- Extra piping (per metre): from Rp 110K
- AC relocation: from Rp 500K
- AC removal: from Rp 250K
Maintenance contracts
For villas, offices and rentals with several units, a contract is cheaper per visit than ad-hoc calls and keeps units on schedule:
- Monthly contract (per unit): from Rp 190K/mo
- Quarterly package (per unit): from Rp 500K/qtr
What changes the price
The figures above are starting rates. A few things move the final number:
- Outdoor unit access — rooftop or high-wall units take longer.
- Refrigerant type and how much is needed.
- Replacement parts, quoted separately and shown before work.
- After-hours or emergency call-out: a surcharge from Rp 125K applies.
Frequently asked questions
Do I pay before the work is done?
No. There is no prepayment for standard bookings — you pay after the job is finished and you are satisfied.
Are parts included in the repair price?
The diagnostic fee covers inspection. Any replacement parts are quoted separately and shown to you for approval before the work starts.
Is there a call-out fee?
Standard daytime bookings have no separate call-out fee. After-hours or emergency visits carry a surcharge from Rp 125K.
