What this kind of venue does to an AC system
An office runs its air conditioning on a fixed daily cycle: on at opening, off at close, every weekday. That is easier on the hardware than continuous running, but it means the system cools down and warms up twice a day, and condensation forms every cycle. Over a year that is what silts a drain line. Meeting rooms are the usual complaint — a unit sized for an empty room struggles once a dozen people are in it, and everyone concludes the AC is broken when it is simply undersized for that use.

Because the units are usually identical and in one building, a whole floor is quicker to service than a comparable number of units spread across a villa. Contract rates start at five units and most offices are past that on a single floor.
