What this kind of venue does to an AC system
A rental villa runs its air conditioning the way a hotel does but maintains it the way a house does. Guests set every bedroom to the lowest temperature and leave it there for the whole stay, often with a door or window open, so the units never cycle off and the coils ice, sweat and then collect dust in a permanently damp state. The failures that follow are predictable: overflowing drain pans, a musty smell in a room that was cleaned that morning, and one bedroom that never quite gets cold.
How we schedule it
The constraint is the booking calendar, not the equipment. Work has to fit between check-out and check-in, which is usually a few hours, and it has to leave the room presentable. We schedule villas as whole properties rather than single units so one visit covers every bedroom, and for owners who are not in Bali each unit is photographed before and after. Contract rates start at five units, which most three-bedroom villas reach once the living areas are counted.
