AC noise can come from a dirty blower wheel, loose casing, worn motor bearing, outdoor fan issue or vibration from bad mounting.

The order we check things in
The noise itself tells us where to look, so it is worth describing it accurately when you message. A rattle or vibration that changes with fan speed is usually the indoor fan barrel — loose, out of balance, or with dirt built up unevenly on one side. A grinding or whining that runs constantly points at a bearing in the fan motor. A hard clunk when the unit starts or stops is normally the outdoor unit: a loose mounting, a fan blade catching, or the compressor shifting on worn mounts. A hiss or gurgle is refrigerant moving, and it is only a fault if it is new and cooling has dropped with it.
What you can check yourself first
Check the obvious things first — the outdoor unit sitting level and firmly on its bracket, nothing resting against the casing, and no debris where the outdoor fan turns. Note whether the noise follows the fan speed or the compressor cycling, because that single detail separates an indoor problem from an outdoor one. Do not keep running a unit that is grinding: a failing bearing is a cheap part now and an expensive motor shortly. Diagnosis is Rp65,000; a fan motor replacement starts at Rp380,000, quoted before we fit it.
